Dubai, UAE is the host of a strong tournament with 14 players over 2600. Some of the better known names (to me) are Krishnan Sasikiran (IND), Vladimir Akopian (ARM), Zaven Andriasian (ARM), S.S. Ganguly (IND), Yuriy Kuzubov (UKR), Parimarjan Negi (IND), and Jon Ludvig Hammer (NOR).
After 2 rounds, there are 26 players tied for first in the 165 or so player event.
