2023 FIDE World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad at Eindhoven
The International Chess Federation (FIDE) and the Royal Dutch Chess Federation (KNSB) have the pleasure to invite all national chess federations to participate in the FIDE World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad 2023 which will be held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands from 12 - 19 August 2023.

Venue : The tournament will be held at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven
Hotel : Players and coaches will be accommodated at the Van Der Valk Hotel in Eindhoven. All participants and coaches must stay at the official hotel.
Eligibility and Team Composition:
All players who did not reach the age of 16 by 1 January 2023 (born 2007 or later) are entitled to participate. Upon arrival, or at any time during the event, players may be required to present passports for verification of their age.
Each team shall comprise of 4 players, with boys and girls represented (i.e. each team will have at least 1 boy and at least 1 girl). The team will have 1 captain.
Each FIDE member federation has the right to send one team as their invited team.
Each FIDE member federation has the right to send additional teams and shall be responsible for all the costs of their additional teams and accompanying persons.
Registration - Deadline May 31, 2023.
No registration will be considered after the deadline date.

Official Team Selection:
Within one CFC chess calendar year from Jul to Jul, players who already received official benefit will not be considered.
The four highest CFC regular rated players who registered and committed will be considered. Will use the rating after the May 31 rating cycle. Decision will be made on Jun 1.
Official Team will get the benefit listed as article 6.4 on the regulation file.
Article 6.4 The organizing committee shall provide free board and lodging for 5 members of the teams mentioned in 2.2 above from August 12 (arrival) until Augustus 19 (departure).
Official Team will get some flight sponsorship from CFC. Will announce later (U16 Chess Olympiad will be funded by 2023 CYCC, we don't know the budget until CYCC is done)
CFC will pay for the registration fee of the official team.
Additional Team:
CFC will send additional teams if there are additional interests. Players are responsible for all the costs of their additional teams and accompanying persons.
